The sequel to one of the most successful strategy games i.e Civilization Revolution 2 on mobile is here! Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution 2 challenges players to build a glorious empire that will stand the test of time. This is the first game in the Civilization catalogue to be developed and available exclusively for mobile devices. Oct 26, 2016 I’ve played every Civilization game on a Mac since Civ 2, and the only version I truly hated was Civ III. This iteration ranks a little behind Civ V pre-Gods & Kings Expansion. I think this is the most intuitive Civ refresh in a long time—the jump from IV to V was a lot harder to get used to than V to VI.
Force closes a lot! I just bought the game this morning, and I was eager to get home and start playing, so I did that as soon as I got home and 1min into the game it forced closed. I didn't think much of it, so then I started playing again and this time about 30 sec in it did it again ,and again, and again so now I just want my money back and don't want this game anymore.
How to use Civilization Revolution 2 for PC and MAC
You can run all Android games and applications on your PC or MAC computer. Using a free software called Bluestacks, you don't need to purchase anything but games or applications it self if it isn't free.

- Download Bluestacks from this link.
- Install BlueStacks from installation file with following the on-screen instructions.
- Once Bluestacks is installed add your Google account in it.
- Type Civilization Revolution 2 in Search bar and install it.
Doesn't work I have tried to play this many times since i bought it and all it does is crash no matter what i try. not worth the money
Farmville knock off This is nothing like civilization for PC. You have to run the town like farmville and pick up coins and food like farmville. Wtf
I love it I love the game but ever since i got it like 6 months ago you havent updated at all, nothing has changed and i spent almost 20 dollars on it. You also havent updated any of the challenges or online maps. Please update and i will rate 5 stars.
Love Civ, but this isn't deserving of its price. I absolutely love playing civilization. I own it for the pc, console and even have the original Civ:: Rev. This game has a few new features to make it interesting but I have encountered so many errors while playing that I wish I would've refunded my purchase when I had the chance. I am constantly having to restart the game as it freezes constantly and crashes at will. Playing a game takes twice as long when dealing with this. I regularly have the UI screen disappear in my cities. Developers please fix!
Doesn't work DONT BUY I play civ but this does not work it crashes after using for 3 minutes do not buy I haven't gotten a response from when I contacted 2k. and i havent gotten a refund don't risk it
The game is buggy The game glitches a lot on my android phone. For example,for a weird reason the game glitches so that I can't build my military,buildings,or wonders because of this glitch. Please fix this, this ruins my fun in this game
Great game! Running on note 4 seems to be no issue. Great game play. Starts off a little confusing, but easy to catch on just like the previous civ games. Great new features! Only downside is its a batery killer, but that should be expected when running such a complex game on a small device I think.
Bug! Halfway through a scenario my city building screen disappeared. I've got 8 cities producing nothing all over.... Making it impossible to complete it.... Also the time periods move far to fast, you set up your defences, build an army then boom, you're troops are outdated.... At least an option to make the time move slower.....fix those and you would get a 5 star.
Diplomacy I have played many different scenarios and loaded maps, but other world leaders never see to know each other so I end fighting wars by myself
Heats and drains my Shield Tablet. Also needs a manual. I feel bad for anyone trying to run this on a lower-spec tablet. No control issues but it could do with a manual or a much more thorough tutorial. I only accidentally discovered that 3 units make an army. It's good for what it is, i.e. Civ-Lite. Bug: '3 population in 3 cities' objective actually only completes at population 4.
Great Game Its a pretty good game-i play it quite a bit now. I don't exactly think its worth $10. Plz don't add new features as DLC. Also not to nag but more diplomacy features would be nice such as trade and alliances.
Great game, weird permissions This is civ revolution for the tablet. If you've burnt hours on civ in the past, you're going to spend a lot of time with this game. But seriously 2K, you want to manage my calendar? Please, don't do things like this. It's just rude and intrusive.
Doesn't update 'live events' It's been at least 6 months since they have changed the live events. All they do is change when the current event expires. There is also virtually no difference between this game and civilization revolution 1. So if you have the first one, don't waste your money
Good, but has room for improvement Pretty good although I wish the world was larger and the game play a little slower like the Pc versions. They fixed some of the earlier glitches.
Plays like the PC Version And just as addicting! Played fine on a RCA Pro 10 tablet. Controls definitely take some getting used to vs the PC version which I am a big fan of. I would have given it a 5, however I cannot seem to beat the last frickin' civilization remaining. What gives with that? Going up against warriors with bows and arrows, guys on horseback chucking spears, with me having tanks, battleships, and riflemen and getting nowhere is a bit frustrating. I mean REALLY?? Seems like a bug to me. Please fix so the game is more enjoyable. I WOULD like to win on occasion. Also don't like that you cannot directly fire on a city with a warship. This is stupid and not realistic at all. Thanks.
Great game with some problems. I am unable to create an army. I can create units. But I can not combine units into armies. I also have been playing the game for awhile and can not seem to unlock JFK. Or any of the other leaders. It's obviously a glitch. So fix it. Thank you
Game Crashes Frequently I love the Civilization franchise, and this game has great potential, but it crashes only after a few minutes of play. It would a good game if it didn't crash so frequently.
Archers... It's a fun game. I really like the concept. One complaint is that enemy archers can kill almost any of my units when they are defending... they are so op. I would attack with knight armies or even jets and the archers still win. Please make the game more even and especially more realistic.. archers don't kill jets :/
A big rip off I bought the game was so excited. Had no issues paying. From the first day after playing for about 3 min you loose control on what your cities production is. Waited 2 weeks for an update but nothing. Very sad do not waste your money on this shame

Crash problem No good. Always crashes, can't even get a unit built, no reply to my request for help in months. Don't waste your money or time. Also I want a refund this game should be free or destroyed as an example... :(
Almost Great This would be a 5 if not for persistent bugs. The game freezes often and many times doesn't operate how you expect. That said, I play it a lot and enjoy the heck out of it.
NOT like farmville This game is pretty good, but does have its drawbacks. Especially for those that played and really enjoyed the PC version. First thing I have to say is that this is NOT a Farmville knockoff as there are no coins or food to collect. But you don't build farms or have engineers at all as that part is automated. The biggest letdown for me was just how shallow the game play is. You can get through an entire game in just a couple sittings. But it is still worth a buy for fans.

A good first attempt at an Android port. Support for Google Cloud Saves and Android TV, along with better battery life and performance in general would get this 5 stars. As it stands, it's got great replayability, and works well offline, though it will devour your battery so keep your charger nearby!
Too easy Deity mode is supposed to be tough. Other civ are easily tricked. And game moves too slowly to have repeat value to beat all the achievements. For example you can't set cities to auto production. Also no options on works size etc.
Great game that stands the test of time It's definitely a simplified version of desktop Civ but it's a mobile game do it kinda has to be. I've noticed a lot of comments about it not running or being buggy but I've had it on 3 devices and it's worked perfectly on all. There are also requests for updates but the game doesn't really need them in my opinion. The game is what it is and you could kill hours with the different game modes. I do think it's a little expensive at it's normal price but if you can get it for $5 or less it's totally worth it.
Very enjoyable game, lacking features. It's a very nice game, and the unlockable characters helps you adopt different play styles. However, it's very similar (almost identical) to the first revolution game, and it's lacking the 'one more turn' feature from the pc games. You just don't have enough control on the length of the game, and you don't get to see the aftermath of your victory. It really makes victory a goal you don't want to reach because you want to play longer! It is also lacking multiplayer, and playing with AI gets dull over time.
How does this have 4 stars? It closes out every time, please fix! Worst money spent! How do I get my money back?
It's just like the one on console I played this on xbox with friends and I only noticed a few things different but that doesn't change the gameplay, it's still a fun game for when you wanna pass the time.
Crashes I have been waiting for this to happen for ages!!!! This is my dream, to have a decent civ game on my xperia z! I paid nearly 12 quid, installed it, played the tutorial and it crashes just as you build a warrior, which is about 2 seconds in!? What the hell!? If this isn't fixed soon, I'll get a refund. If it's this broken, why is it not free?? It's beyond unplayable. *update* it's now Feb 2015 and even on my HTC one M8 it still crashes more than my girlfriend in her car... Don't waste your money.
Good game, but crashes HTC m7 I'd love to give this game more stars, because it seems like it would be really fun. Unfortunately, it randomly crashes after a few minutes... Can't tie the crash to any particular action or time, it just crashes. I have plenty of HDD and memory available while its running, so I don't know what the issue is. Will definitely raise the rating if they fix it, but the game is unplayable at this point, and I'm considering asking for a refund. I'm on HTC One m7, running KitKat android 4.4.3.

Awesome. Sure it's not like the PC version, but it's awesome anyways. One problem is that it's killing battery like hell while playing.

Great game but a step back with no multiplayer Love this game when it was on consoles always had a great time although the multiplayer was a little choppy at times. it's a shame to see that the multiplayer was not refined in this version, instead opted to remove it completely. Another thing that was missing were the domination charts and the timeline of events at the end of your victory along with the ranking you acquire. I hope there ia an update. That said the new customization for random generation is great and the added world leaders are a plus.
Finally for android. I had this on ios and have been waiting for it to out on the play store forever. Now its not the pc version but still fun. Very fun world building the achievements are a nice touch . There are 2 reasons I don't give it a 5*. 1- every time I open the app it asks to login to Google play and when I'm in the middle of playing also, it very annoying. 2 - when I minimize the app for a call or message or misc and go back to play I have to start from the start screen instead of strait into game play
I love this game, but... I love this game. Do not expect this game to be like civ on pc, because it isn't. It is a very different game and I like it. However, it crashes way too much. It will crash multiple times per game. Luckily it does have an auto save feature, so you don't lose too much progress. The game is also very stuttery at times. This wouldn't be too bad, but now when I try to load a game that it crashed on, it crashes when trying to load and now I guess I have lost all my progress on it. If this is fixed, 5 stars.
Great fun I bit tedious but I'm playing on easy mode. It's fun learning as you go. Plays really well, and sounds good
