It's a great port from the PC version, but I would love it if you allowed cheat codes and hacks. Also I tried to use a ps4 controller, and the buttons paired perfectly fine, but it keeps thinking I'm constantly pushing the analog sticks and D-pad in one direction constantly, making it imposable to use them. Other than that, it's a great emulator and I love how you can use a keyboard. Please fix these things in the future. Thanks!
OpenEmu's n64 emulator 'core' is definitely the most stable release I've seen, though it's still a little buggy so it doesn't come packaged with the standard OpenEmu download. However, the download button should have a drop down tab (a little arrow) that expands the download options.

Project 64 randomly stopped letting me access my save about 25 hours into my favourite game unless I paid to open it. Otherwise it would delete my file and make me 'restart' from the beginning. I've got no problem with donating money but being manipulated into spending it with my arm twisted isn't a nice feeling. I would've rather not downloaded this at all in the first place? A heads up at the beginning of the download telling me all my time would count for nothing unless I paid would've been a lot more decent. Just out of principle there's no way I will give them my money even if it inconveniences me. Disgusting.
Worked great...for maybe 12 hours. Then asks you to pay...let people try the game at least a week, what a joke. Never paying for crap like this when you can find free ones that are slightly worse. 👎
Great job on getting this moving beyond windows! Rotation is wonky, it favors a certain rotation of landscape that my LG g4 makes upside down the way I normally use it. It's early days and I'm sure resolution options will appear, since my phone's (LGG4) resolution is so high it really slows down emulation. Also, I have to increase button size to almost 200 percent since my rez is so high; on a first boot, button size is always too big but goes back to smaller sizes if I go into options and back into game. It's nowhere as mature as mupenae+ fz but it's important to get another kid on the block and for that I'm grateful.

Well done, it could boot Doom 64, this is the 2nd android emulator which can boot Doon 64. But speed of emulation is low about 50-60 present of full speed, download this app and report bugs to help development.
Making someone pay for something that is considered free on PC isn't the right move. You should remove the so called ' mandatory ' donation to use the app.
very minimal with settings at this point. plays most games. has the basic visual artifacts like most emulators. flashing textures in the distance. textures that look misplaced ect.
HELP! (Someone with High Functioning Autism here.) How do you open the 'ROMS' in the app? Where do you save them? On your phone/SD card? Do you have to make a folder for them, leave them open, or put it in APPS folder???

Black screen Sound works, controls work. But I can't get a thing out of the display! It just sits blank. Also it crashes whenever exiting a game.
Greatest so far It can play any game at a high speed,it has 90% frame rate(measured in fps) smooth but fast gameplay and no lag.I rated it 4 but nothing is perfect ,one downfall it is not multiplayer compatible,add this in and get your fifth.
It's Project64... I have used PJ64 on my computer for a long time, so I'm glad it's on mobile. I just have two problems with it. One, it crashes alot. I have what's called a 'Gamer's Phone' It has alot of memory and runs games smoothly. But the app crashes all the time. Two, I have tried using my dads Xbox One S controller on the phone with Bluetooth and it won't work. So I have to use on-screen controls. It's hard to do, because the joystick is horrible. Maybe use one that's like the one on the mobile version of Terraria?
When it plays Rogue Squadron, Indiana Jones, and Battle for Naboo then I will be interested. Untill then it is just another basic N64 emulator that doesn't live up to its hype.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggg... The quality is great, but while trying to play Mario Party 3, the lag is real. And I mean really real. It keeps skipping and it's because there's just so many characters on-screen. Pls fix. :'( Also will give better rating if you fix. I mean, the online version is great, and I know this is just your first update, but if you fix it will be better.
CoolN64 still better because have many engines options to suit many ROMs. Its rare CoolN64 crash. But Project64 crash often either no handle many games like Banjo Tooie, Killer Instint... Sorry but its my concern after testing this today Nov 19, 2016.

Not So Good... Yea, its ok but it freezes on Mario 64 when I load cheats or not. At one point it turns white and I cant play the game. Five stars if you can fix that. Another problem, When playing Smash Brothers, characters faces like Mario's is blank. That isnt much of a problem but when it says Game Set, it shows results, after that white screen. Please fix all these glitches.
Works like everyone I've used so far Meaning I can't play paper Mario. Also people don't give this a bad rating because you don't know where to find roms or know how to use Google and if it doesn't work on your phone your phone probably doesn't have the right specs!

Poorly developed! Do not download. I have tried playing a number of different titles on this Emulator and some work well, most others don't. It either crashes, glitches out the game (ex: not showing textures) or it freezes and I have to restart it to make it work again. Tablet specs: Dell Venue 7 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean 2GB Ram Intel processor As you can see I have a pretty average tablet, but I know its powerful enough to run this. Fix all of the problems listed in this review and other people's reviews, only then I will give you better ratings.

Controls: good. Loading: bad. I enjoyed the size of the buttons on my screen and the reaction of the toggle controls, but it wouldn't load most of my games. Some of my games, it just played audio and did not react to my controls. Other emulators loaded these same roms, but I didn't like them because the buttons were too small on my screen. Brocken It worked once and then it stoped. I load the rom and press play... emulator loading the screen gos black then flashes back to the main screen I try again and same tuing happend. It said report bug to fix for future. ..I uninstalled both the roms and emulator and re download them and the same thing happen...
